LLME is currently offering drawings and instructions for
the completion of our LME-370 - "Pip" model airplane engine. Pip
is a 0.70ci, 3-cylinder, 4-stroke, glow-ignition model airplane engine designed
for machining in the home shop. Our detailed plans sets include 29 drawings
as well as 33 pages of detailed machining instructions in a large 11"x17"
format. Our web site features an extensive chronicle of the completion of
the prototype engine as well as short movies of the engine running.
Our Handy Little Lathe charts consolidate recommended tool bit grinding angles and SFPM cutting speeds color coded for ease of use.
