An engine room and boiler layout comprising a boiler,feed pump and two steam engines.
The boiler is of the Yarrow type and contains 22ft. of ¼in. copper tube. The Stuart Turner engines are a beam engine similar to the standard Stuart Beam, and a single cylinder 10V engine. The feed pump is also to a Stuart Turner design.
The valves situated at the front of the model control the transfer of boiler water from tanks beneath the floor of the model to the boiler, fire hose (yet to be made) and transfer from one tank to another.
